Yeah really, posting "gotcha!" replies to stupid tweets made by people who get too much attention is.. still just giving them attention

Eg. Elon Musk. He pays a lot of money to ensure were always talking about him. Unfortunately doing this presently.

I largely ignore ‘famous’ people because I simply do not care. (Except Keanu Reeves because he’s awesome) but I occasionally come across these ‘people’ in my line of work. I love the look of horror on the faces of their handlers when I ask ‘who?’ To their attempts at big noting.

Meta data. Facebook makes money collecting data through these methods.

I do agree with you. I guess I just wanted to say that because I wondered if it ever gets easier

That would be amazing. It seems that once someone gets their license many people just forget everything they learned in drivers Ed.

Wet and forget. You spray it on after you take a shower the day before and next day everything wipes off easy.

Ooh so true. It's hard not to talk about the ridiculous. But less clicks and mentions should help I think? Idk I am just frustrated like everyone else!

>I'd say you've had your head in the sand, then, but not paying attention to some asshole just because he's rich is something I can get behind.
Not really. He kept it hidden for a while. For a long time he was this cool "inventor/visionary" persona liked by everyone across the political spectrum. Then over the last 3 years the truth came out.

Risk, reward, consequence… your reward is you get to your destination a few milliseconds quicker. The risk is unpredictable behaviour from the other party resulting in a crash. The consequence is a potentially hefty repair bill, injury; and being very late to your destination.
Don’t just assume. Always better to be absolutely sure before you make a manoeuvre, it’s just not worth the risk.

I used to work at a deli and we sold stroopwaffles. A customer told me that if you put one on top of a cup of hot coffee the moisture causes it to fluff up (this is not true, by the way). But for the next year or so I told that to other customers without checking myself. Finally, one customer said "have you ever tried it?" and I was an idiot and said yes. He knew I was lying.
I still lose sleep over that to this day.
