I agree entirely! I found out because I had a disagreement with the way my HOA was handling something, and had missed an email but found it after telling them I didn't see that specific email.
They came back with screenshots of their tracking system showing that I had just barely opened the email.

It's one of my many regrets. My Nana and Aunt just wanted pictures of us kids. I always hated the way I looked so much that I ran and hid anytime a camera came out. Knowing they just wanted to see us when we weren't around just breaks my heart. I smile for every camera now, no matter who is taking the picture. People just want to see you when they miss you, and they don't care how you look.

Nope. Gmail does nothing to block those trackers. I'm unsure about Yahoo.

Reply to LPT: When you get a new lock, buy a new house, or something like that always save one of the keys for future copies. This can be the safety key you leave with someone, but the point is never to use it, so when you do wear down your key, you make a replacement with the pristine one. by pSilver68932

Reply to LPT: In addition to wanting to hire a person who is qualified, hiring managers also want someone they can see themselves working closely with, so don’t forget to bring a good personality too. by NotWeirdThrowaway
I 100% hire with my gut, and always want someone cool on the team. I just look at the resume to make sure it’s formatting correctly. But I am in finance, not saving lives or anything.

I typically use the Apple Mail macOS client and it has some built-in proxy feature to block trackers that I recommend using. I also developed the MailTrackerBlocker plugin if that feature doesn’t work for you for some reason (older macOS version, etc).

What makes you think that you shouldn't read and abide by your lease. Obviously this is dependent on being able to do so.

You are better than 99% of the maintenance managers I've encountered. I always made sure that I abided by the contract I signed, which (in my case) always stipulated that you may change the locks but you must give notice and provide (usually two) keys to the management.
In my state, by law a landlord must give at least 12 hours notice to tenants before making a non-emergency entry, but multiple times I came home to muddy boot prints on my floor (one time it was paint, which was fun). No notice was given, and no note was left explaining the reason for entry.
It's good that you have high standards and trust yourself to stick to them, but even if I'm your tenant, I don't know you from Adam and I would rather trust myself to give you a key that is impossible for you to copy. No offense, but you're not looking at this from the perspective of a tenant.

Coffee filters are highly flammable and even more so when soaked in grease. Is this use for them, in a kitchen, a good idea when inexpensive, non-flammable and reusable metal splash filters are already a thing?

I hate having my picture taken. I always look goofy af. But I don't care because memories are more important, and I'd rather have pictures of me with my family than worry about how I look.

If you're worried about privacy use protonmail.com. It hides all images, removes trackers, doesn't have access to your data and warns you when you click something in the email so that you don't click accidentally.
