I wish more people understood this. If someone stinks because of a hygiene problem, they are usually going to visibly look unhygienic.
If they do not look unhygienic but are still super stinky, a simple "hey friend, I'm worried you might have a medical issue, there is an odor around you and I know you're clean. Maybe you should see a doctor?"

Good to know - I just have the extra money taken out and treat it like a forced savings account. Sure, it doesn't get interest, but then again at most I'm only overpaying by a few hundred bucks so it wouldn't get me much anyway.

Do you have someone you can talk to? I shared a similar set of feelings and found talk therapy extremely helpful. Is classify myself as low but constant depression for most of my adult life and wish I had tried therapy ten years earlier.

Something I learned way later in life than I should have: leaving the lather on for 30 seconds to let the soap do its work helps considerably.

What's a 'show'? A concert? What if I hate live performance..? And also listen to music that is exclusively being produced and consumed on the other side of the planet..?

Just our government making things unnecessarily complicated. We all had the old system down… so of course they had to shake it up.
HR isnt legally allowed to help you fill out the form either. I always tell people to just put whatever, or leave it blank if they want. And then give them an extra form to take home, and bring to their CPA. You can resubmit a new one and negate the old one whenever you want.

Haha I have short legs but I should probably try to get halfway decent at running so that’s a good idea! I do enjoy biking so maybe I can add running too

I’ve been lifting but I think I’m gonna join my club team again at least for the summer. Just prolonging the inevitable but it’ll give me time

Babsically where Im from they never speak any language I know so joining in on their conversation is difficult cause they either speak arabic or turkic

I never even thought about bedbugs at the laundromat. I have a w/d but take my comforters and blankets etc there a few times a year, so now I have one MORE thing to worry about! Ayyyy!

FYI, the “0” “1” “2” system is outdated. They changed the forms in either 2019 or 2020. If your employer is still using the old form then it might not be translating properly when they do payroll.
Download the 2023 W-4 form. It has 3 pages of confusing AF instructions.

Yeah i’d imagine the person on the phone would unironically yell something like “MIND YOUR DAMN BUSINESS”
