LPT: always take care of your customer service needs when you don't need to be somewhere else any time soon. It takes the stress and pressure off both you and them to know that you aren't in any hurry. Honestly, this is the best way to do any errands or appointments if possible.

You shouldn't hide your emotions as that is actually unhealthy for you mentally, but being able to choose to express them is possible, for me it was recognizing what was triggering my emotions and coming to terms with that, and although I still struggle to not be emotional (I don't think it ever truly goes away) I understand why I am and so I'm able to express myself accordingly even though I may be feeling pretty broken inside.

For example I was recently denied a position at my workplace, my manager and the manager I was transitioning to made it seem like it was a done deal even though I had accumulated points for a write up due to attendance (attendance points systems are garbage by the way), apparently they have moved people before even though they had them, well you know the rest, even though there were clear examples of them disregarding it for others, for some reason they enforced it on me, that was hard to not express how I truly felt, but I was able to keep my composure and just thanked the managers for the opportunity, they did say I can re apply in June but at this point I don't know, that felt so disheartening, like I know I'm expendable but that truly made me feel like I wasn't worth anything to them as a employee, so you can probably surmise how I felt and what I wanted to express at that moment...

Oh I got ya, you just trying to better organize your time so you can get through a backlog. I can't help ya there, I got games on steam from 2014 I've still not got around to playing.

I'd say just stop buying stuff and make a short list of games you want to play and haven't....but spring steam sale is coming and I know there gonna be a lot of 5 to 10 dollar games like there always is.

This is what I do. Occasionally I will check the 3 stars too, but I pay no attention to the 1's and 5's because they are all inevitably biased. I also like to look for ones with updates or where the person has had the item for longer than a few days because it helps you learn how well it holds up.

100%. I worked in retail for ages and my retailer had a policy that every employee in the store was empowered to satisfy a customer’s problem up to $50 at their discretion.

I saw an article years ago while still working there where someone decided to let the world know about this’d. Except their point wasn’t that if you do happen to have an issue, any employee will be more empowered to help you there than elsewhere. Their point was that you can get $50 worth of free shit whenever you went there. I fought people in the comments for a few minutes before giving up.

People suck. Dangle a fucking carrot in front of the average person and they’ll eat it, the fishing pole, and your arm before asking for more.

Just take a fucking bite and leave it for someone else to find…

I type all my essays on an iPad. You can’t use the software on a device where the software doesn’t exist.

Next time, maybe be a little nicer to people who have the technology they have.
