This. You're emotional because you love life and are connected with what's around you. I wish more people were like you.

If you adhere to this tip, remember to not carry said knife or scissors through the airport and have them taken, as I've now done five times.

Lol just an unwritten rule. Plus it's your money. Morally you've given it to them but if like 15 bucks are remaining in the card and it's gonna get expired... I don't think it's anyone's loss if you use it.. That's why i said just before it gets expired

First of all, it's completely okay to be a sensitive person. It's your personality and you like expressing or letting it out verbally or emotionally. Fuck the ones who make fun of you because they can't be half the person you are. I really wouldn't want you to not cry just because someone else makes you feel that way. Trust me they ain't worth it.
That being said, if you still want to make yourself not cry,
-
I used to watch this anime that made me cry a lot over and over again until i stopped crying. Usually it helps me but I can't say the same to others. (I lost emotions due to my occupation but that doesn't mean i don't cry .. i do too and it's really ok to)

Practice in the mirror. You need to learn to make a poker face. Slowly and steadily it will come up
-
Identify the things that make you cry. Make a list of it and slowly work on it. If it's someone else that's making you cry... Tell yourself everyday they aren't worth it and fortify your mind. Sooner or later it will kind of work.

I wanted this, I got it, I don't like it. The happiest face I can make is "content" laughs feel forced even when sincere.
Enjoy your emotions. They make you more human. If people make fun of them, fuck'em they can suck the pimples off your ass.

Oh yes thank you OP for mentioning this.
People nowadays take advantage of kindness. Instead, just give a 5 star and stimulate their business by visiting often.
Who knows, you may get a good connection with them and have a great time having a good trustworthy place to eat or shop ... rather than making other vultures come in and destroy it for them.

Also note down the number of the gift card that you give. If they haven't used the remaining balance in over a year or two (before it expires), you are legal to use it !

I sold my interest in it to my husband. The next one I grew tired of retail and returned to my professional passion.

Blackout / rechargeable light bulbs. I have some and they work as regular bulbs until there’s an outage - then they provide light for up to 8 hours and they still respond to the light switch as usual. I have them strategically placed around the house and have bought a bunch for elderly family members and friends
