Reply to comment by Boredandsleeps in LPT - Tell those that give you a gift card what you purchased. by resjudicata1
That's the thing, though. I often get gift cards to home depot or lowes, but then spend them on whatever crap, like pex to repair a broken pipe. People like hearing that it went toward "a splurg" that you normally wouldn't buy for yourself... like a "treat." So, I've bene trying to pick out a useful tool or something that I normally would have to try and justify, but now don't have to because of the gift card.

god I hope not, I can't even be bothered to READ half of these horrible resumes.

I usually get gift cards for Walmart or Costco or even just some cash and I tell them right away that that money is going towards groceries and maybe a small highly sugary treat for my family lol

I totally get what you're saying. Observing people and thinking about people go hand in hand. I took this more as like, don't let fear of what others think of you to impact life decisions.

On a multi-lane highway also be sure that the vehicle two lanes over is not trying to merge into the same lane as you are. Mirrors don’t help that situation.

It’s just a story you’re telling yourself. Would you say that to a friend? Be kinder to yourself.

So you are telling me that i have been ruminating over nothing? Was the opinion in my head a lie?

“Excellent customer service” is all you need. It’s a review, not a novel.

Powdery deodorant. Also, I’ve heard many times over the years that Preparation H is a surprisingly good hack for anti chafing. I’ve never tried myself but people swear by it!

Everything we spend is our money so its a common decision. It seems almost selfish to have some share of my income “for myself” as if having one bank account is somehow limiting me and what I want to do

Yes definitely might be a good idea... But again it can be somewhat not good ... Please don't get mad here let me explain!
Because if you have a voicemail or alternative of someone who has gone.. Then the voicemail which you kept may keep you reminding him/her and I think it'll let you miss the person more.. So considering this I think it's better to forget them with time rather than missing again and again

I read an article about this. It was one of those build yourself up type things. Like, worrying about how you look in a swimsuit and being self conscious. People are typically so self absorbed in their own selves that they don't pay attention to anyone else.

I have a voice message from Dad of him cussing me out when I had been admitted to the hospital (multiple myeloma diagnosis near kidney failure). I would make my girlfriend talk to him when he called and tell him I was asleep because I didn't want him to hear the strain in my voice. He had his own health issues and was basically homebound but threatened to "come up there and beat it out of you" if I didn't call him and tell him what was happening myself. Damn I miss that old man.

Oh, another thing, many people find relief from balancing their gut biome! Drink kefir (has more kinds of bacteria than yogurt) or take a probiotic.

>Remember blindspots behind you don’t really affect you but blindspots in the lane next to you affect you when changing lanes.
Which is why you're supposed to signal, then physically check those lanes by looking back before moving into a lane.

My father had cancer and so for the year leading up to his passing away I saved all of his voicemails. I did not realize that when I got rid of my phone, all of the voicemails would go with it. I thought they were on the server side but it turns out they were local on the phone and I lost everything when I reset the phone. Make sure you save voicemails outside of your phone app.
