this may be a prime opportunity to embrace some good sleep health habits which will help you overall. theres more out there, but what I can remember is... Sleep in a dark room so your brian makes melatonin, avoid using your bed/ bedroom for more than sleep, establish and keep a schedule, be wary that it only takes like 2 wonky days to disrupt an already established schedule, and try to avoid over-relying on sleeping pills or on energy drinks.

I used to work a ridiculous schedule where sometimes it would be overnights or sometimes it would be 5am clock in. It began taking a serious toll on my mental health. My solution? (Well, before I ultimately left the job) Play awesome music! Music that gets ya going. Music to help bring your mood up. :) I would also make sure to always do a morning shower because it helps to wake me up.

I can understand why waking up early might make you feel low. Maybe you can try doing something you enjoy in the morning to start your day off on a positive note, like listening to music or going for a walk. You could also try to adjust your sleeping schedule so that you get enough rest and wake up feeling more refreshed.

You figure that a stranger would be more likely to relate with you or judge your character when sharing disparaging thoughts on people they don’t know? By all means, do what you feel you must, it’s no consequence to me.

I make decent money but still spend like I did when I was making 45-50K a year.

I was able to cover my expenses then and still live pretty comfortably. Stuff could be a bit tight, but never to the point where I had concern about not being able to do/buy something I wanted/needed.

To this, I also believe making more money does not mean you should spend more money. I will drive a nice Toyota RAV4 rather than having a BMW SUV.

I will buy a $300,000 house rather than a $700,000 house.

I won’t eat out any more often than I do (which I rarely do anyway).

I will comfortably buy wants and treat myself slightly more often, but otherwise I’m all about saving.

$5 a day is $1,800 a year. Not buying a coffee/snack every day literally allows me to go on a vacation and possibly still not spend as much as buying a $5 drink/snack every day lol.
