Cross is typical for Nordic countries which include also Iceland which isn't part of scandinavia.
Scandinavia is the mountain range between Sweden and Norway and only countries connected to that mountain range are called Scandinavian.

One of my brother's in law.
They came for 5 days, travelled 800km and all he is interested in is couch and tv.
I took 2 days vacation to spend time with them and do side trips. Lol.
