It is true that there is very little support for both the person that had the affair and the affair partner. I too am not seen as favorable due to fact that these are the people I serve. This is evident by all the downvotes I keep getting. Bottom line is that everyone deserves support and help. Everyone hurts. And even though some will not be understanding of my work, I am here to help those that need it. Please know there is help available for this group of people.

It needs to be easier, especially for how many people now have had theirs disclosed due to mishandled data. Once yours gets on the internet, there's nothing you can do to reverse that, and you have to live with the possibility that at any time, someone may decide to try to use your number, and freezing your credit is not a perfect solution.

Hi Claudia- as an OW who has fallen in love with a MM (2 years). We're crazy about each other. I'm def struggling. He has tried walking away many times and comes back within weeks. I've heard the experience described as gorilla glue by other psychologists.

He is miserable in his marriage, has been for years, but I get it- there are children that prevent him from leaving for a few more years.

In your experience, do these men walk away from their AP eventually, even though they have nowhere to turn to per se?

Hey, I heard you on what the hack podcast. Nice job documenting everything and fighting for your rights.

What was the most stubborn company to set you right, and why? Did it finally ended?

For the folks here, it's worth listening: https://adamlevin.com/2022/11/28/jessica-roy-was-that-close-to-stopping-her-identity-thief/

I decided to check in on those disputes just now. Here's what happened:

-Equifax: worked fine, disputed information is gone (hurray!)

-Experian: The login screen resets every time I enter my info

-TransUnion: it says "view my report" but when I click that I get a blank screen

Again........ these companies track your every financial move, yet seem to have zero interest in maintaining their systems. Awesome. Love this for us, as a society

Maybe slightly off topic but did Theranos and their use/preaching of microfluidics (and subsequent public downfall) have any impact on funding or perception of the work you are doing?

I debated it, but ultimately decided against it for both. I was so overwhelmed with this stuff in early 2019 - I just couldn't add any more bureaucratic paperwork to my plate. I was (and am!) furious at how much work I was expected to do to clean up after someone else's mess, and going in person to appointments with the Social Security office and the DMV sounded like a new circle of Hell.

The bar is very, very high to get a new SSN. Even as a victim of identity theft, I'm not sure I would quality. Leaving my credit permanently frozen and locking down my identity in other ways is sufficient for me, for now.

Hopefully a Binge 3! But I think realistically the Dennis Rodman project would be up next. I have a few other things in the works but I find it’s always best to have 30 things going because 29 will fall apart somewhere along the way.

He was so hilarious. He was there the entire shoot so I spent the most time with him. So much incredible improv and riffing and we used probably 90% of it. His first day on set he needed to have this broken leg from falling off a roof. We could never quite get it to look as absurd as we wanted it to. So nick, the wardrobe designer and me got a plunger and some pipe fitting and made a leg that we could fully crank in a 360. It looks insane but Nick made it work and I feel like only he could have pulled that off.
