It's best to post your AMA when you are ready to start answering, otherwise it will lose visibility too quickly. Feel free to make a new post (don't forget proof) when you can join us for a couple of hours.
Please note that we do not allow "announcement" posts in advance of the AMA.

Wait, aren’t you the guy that made Mad God and Worked in Jurassic Park? You’re a legend sir.

Where did the general plot idea for Mad God originate from? It's incredibly unique. I enjoyed every second of it.

Wow, hello! I actually watched Mad God last night and was blown away by it. Thank you, so much, for sharing your vision with the world.
My question is: 30 years is a tremendous amount of time to invest and this must have been a deeply personal project. Now that it's complete and available, how do you feel as a creator? Is there joy/satisfaction that a lifelong endeavor is out there in the world? Emptiness as you no longer have the production of the film as something to work toward? Other emotions?
Given that the film itself dealt so deeply with emotions surrounding creators, I figured it was a fair question. :-)

Hey! Big fan of your work, Mad God in particular. It's a beautifully horrific piece of art and the reason I signed up for Shudder to begin with.
I'm curious what your process is for "monster making" and especially in Mad God, what kind of work goes into some of the crazier gore fx? It all looks so gnarly, and I love it lol.

Mad God was amazing! Are you planning on any more stop motion/claymation films?

AMAs are pre-posted, if you look in the original post there's the date and time when it will happen.

Hi Phil! Thanks for taking questions. Having spent so much time on Mad God, how do you feel now that it's out? Were you able to accomplish all that you envisioned, or is there more you would have liked to do with it?

If you really did “have one job” and it wasn’t what you were already doing what would it be?

Hi Phil, love your work! How was the transition from VFX to directing? How much of an overlap there was (if any) between the two disciplines?

Hey Phil, quick question. How are we supposed to trust you after your work as Dinosaur Supervisor?
Also Mad God was amazing.

In your experience, are stop-motion animators more patient than everyone else?
