I'm saying and only saying there's a million examples of this law being broke, and one example of someone being prosecuted for it. And the one guy that did it, made a movie that was counter Obama. Injustice of this nature should make all our blood boil.

I started taking Butyrate for brain fog and energy, and found it works wonders!

  • is there any harm in taking this supplement?
  • are there any probiotic supplements or foods I can take to instead increase my number of butyrate producing bacteria in my gut?

Thank you!

How do you feel about the audition process in opera? Is there any other industry in which it is standard practice for applicants have to pay a fee for a job interview? Why aren’t the first round auditions done blind?

My point is that there's have been MILLIONS of donations over the limit, of those IRS audits happened to some of those... not one single one got in trouble. The justice system was weponised intbis case and I don't know how any reasonable person can't see that.

Elections do not occur often enough in most societies to warrant an electronic ballot system. Many places that have tried have gone back to paper. It is not infallible, but it does represent something most people trust. Now, if you have segments of your society actively undercutting the legitimacy of elections, that might be something to pay more particular attention too.

Thanks for all the good work you guys are doing to change the public’s perception of these substances!

Are you aware of any studies investigating the efficacy of psychedelics in treating body-focused repetitive behavior (BFRB) disorders (e.g. trichotillomania, dermatillomania)? I suffer from both, and in all my experiences with psychedelics I’ve noticed that my urges to pick/pull disappear completely during and shortly after the trip.

I know there’s a good deal of research on treating OCD with psychedelics, but I haven’t seen any papers that dealt specifically with BFRB disorders.

Thanks for the questions! I can give you some more information on your first question regarding the gut microbiome and acne.

The gut microbiome is an important regulator of the body’s immune system. In people with an altered, or dysbiotic, gut microbiome the permeability of the intestinal wall is increased. The increased permeability leads to the release of inflammatory compounds signalling and increase in inflammation throughout the body. This can lead to an increased response to bacteria on the skin and the development of acne. In addition, there can be alterations in the skin microbiome due to transit of bacteria from the gut to the skin, with the altered skin microbiome leading to the development of acne.

Bruh 7g on mushrooms And 1250 ug LSD ??

They're very different chemicals and experiences differ even at low doses. These doses seem only someone who's been abusing them can bear recreationally given how easy it is to lose tolerance for both drugs.

I know you guys put disclaimers in most of the posts and say as far as we know in this one but it's still short in caution, imo

TL:DR There's not enough evidence if psilocybin can cause serotonin syndrome with SSRIs

But no doubt the risk is dose, person AND SSRI drug dependent.

Almost all popular psychedelics target serotogenic pathways including psilocybin.

SSRIs increase serotonin synaptic availability and so do psilocybin but you're right some SSRIs will block psilocybin effects but others can produce dangerous multiplicative effects.

Please donot mix brain altering chemicals especially unsupervised. Permanent neural disability can and does happen albeit rarely.

More likely is you'll have a traumatic experience and be adrift from a tool that could have really helped you clinically.

>Why is monosodium glutamate (MSG) such a trigger of headaches for people?

Hey /u/PeanutSalsa,

MSG, a common food ingredient is a trigger of headaches for some people because it contains an excitatory neurotransmitter (glutamate). This means that it can cause nerves to fire more easily, which can lead to headaches. This effect will vary from person to person.

It's atleast a moderate dose, i experienced ego death on it on my first trip with LemonTek

But with all drugs some people have more sensitivity plus there are so many other factors that we still don't know about. Blood pressure, hydration, food in the gut, all of these things can and do affect how strong somebody will experience a particular dose on a particular day.

Also your brain is a powerful thing, it makes things true that you believe in it, well sort of, physiologically. Placebos exist and so do Nocebos. Please seek support and talk about this trauma in a safe reflective manner.

Happy if you'd wanna DM and chat about your experience

This is an interesting one, thanks u/fitzsimonsdotdev

The mind and the gut are more closely linked than many people realize. It’s the reason why our mouth waters and our stomach gurgles when we see yummy food or why we might feel the need to throw up when we get nervous or scared.

With this in mind it’s not hard to imagine that fermented foods could boost your sleep. One theory is that inflammation in the body can worsen sleep quality, which can in turn drive further inflammation. A recent article showed that regular consumption of multiple portions of fermented foods daily could substantially reduce inflammation in the body.

Perhaps the anti-inflammatory effects of the fermented foods you're having could be positively impacting your sleep.
