I am actually taking the first part of this answer from another question I answered earlier.

In general, redness or pinkish discoloration in the recipient and donor areas can be present throughout the first few days. There will be some scabbing that should gradually go away after the first five days.

For two to four days, mild bruising or pinkish discoloration and scabbing can be seen in the transplanted and donor areas, However, these conditions will gradually fade during the first week. Any swelling on the forehead and around the eyes will start two or three days after the surgery. Forehead swelling will peak by day four and subside after that.

You can actually return to work as early as the day after your procedure. However, if your job requires bending, stretching, or physical straining, you should take a few days off until the acute phase is over.

You appear to be someone who might have an opinion on the Theranos case since it delves into marketing, PR, CEO leadership and being a female.

It always seemed to me that in her case, she lied to people who needed help for money essentially (funding). We're talking about people's health in life or death situations. It seems to me if she had no funding, it is better to close the company down rather than have even a single person be affected negatively (or let them know her equipment is experimental). Either that or get mild funding and work on your product until it is worth FDA approval. Do you think my opinion is out of line?

Hello /u/ParsaMohebiMD,

There is not enough proof included in the post that connects your identity to the IAmA.

Unfortunately, the links or photos you've posted could have been posted by anyone, and they don't prove that you are the person doing the AMA. Your proof needs to be something that connects the fact that you're doing an AMA with your identity. This could be something like a photo of you in a work uniform or at a relevant location with a sign that has your username and the date. It could also be documents (partially redacted if desired) with a note that has your username and the date. We're happy for you to get creative with your proof as long as it makes it clear to a reasonable person that the person doing the AMA does meet the criteria laid out in the topic of the AMA.

If you can't think of a way to prove your claims publicly, you can also submit confidential proof to the moderators at this link, though bear in mind it may take some time to review.

Here's a link to the section of our wiki that discusses proof.

Please edit your post and add new proof, and reply here to let us know. If your post is more than a couple of hours old, it may be more effective to create a new post and include the proof from the start. Thanks!

If you'd like to appeal, please click here to send a message to the moderator team.

Not OP or an MD but in case he never answers, that was rooted in some knowledge. This particular MD seems to think that you don't need Finasteride post surgery but that is not something shared across the field.

As for the medicine it's not entirely Testosterone reducing but you're inhibiting 5a-reductase which stops the creation of Dihydrogen Testosterone (DHT), the main cause of male pattern baldness.

There is a small chance of side effects that are sexual in nature like low libido or watery semen.

I don't know how it happened so quickly, but I just realized that our hour has gone by already. I will keep checking for new questions over the next few days (and answering questions) that came in during the AMA. Please leave your questions!

Alright. I am a digital marketer, and I'd like to position myself as an expert in the field. For the most part of my life I've been a stage actor and a drama teacher, but I suffered a severe burnout a couple of years ago, so I moved to another country and changed my profession. Re-invented myself, so to speak.
Maybe that's relevant for crafting an interesting story?
