Never let a good failure go to waste, take notes while doing and when-not if-you fail: reflect and try again.
Accept that you will fail on the outset and your failure will lead to success.

(laughs) We don't have grades here. A student either learns and gets an "L" or they fluctuate in their learning.
And what do we get for that?
An "F".

This was written by someone unfamiliar with risk quantification. How about “get better at determining when a risk is real or just in your head”, because taking unnecessary risks where the upside isn’t worth the downside isn’t a good thing.

Agree to disagree. I completely understand your point. I just see the merit in trying to spread a message even using a name drop because the message is more important than the delivery. Precisely to avoid your "I'm 14 and this is deep" point. This sentiment is profound in its own way but its simplified to aid in mental digestion. That simplification makes it accessible but dismissable so the tacked on name helps people to take a second and at least try to apply it personally before forgoing its worth.

I have never been one to believe life quotes like that in the past. But these last 3mos have definitely helped me appreciate them a lot more.

You either take a break, or your body takes one for you.
And your body doesn't care where you are or what plans you had for the day either.

All risks are not created equal. Sometimes what you learn is not worth it. Sometimes the risk is all in your head. Sometimes the risk kills you. Take the risk if only you can weather the failure.

This one hits me hard. I usually wait until I’m so exhausted I’m making mistakes, then I rest.

That's great that this works for you. I never said it wouldn't work for people with ADHD, I myself meditate in the mornings and it helps a lot. Just thought I'd mention ADHD because honestly, regardless of the meds, just getting the diagnosis was a huge help and a massive relief in and of itself

I was actually just thinking that. C.S. Lewis lived in the English countryside through WWII. He wrote about Narnia to give hope of a magical world to kids that had to flee London to avoid getting bombed.
At the same time, he also lived after the war, and watched the country get rebuilt, saw things get better and saw people gain hope again. I like to think this is the change he was referring to.
