Make it non negotiable. Choose what times you will be going to the gym during the week and go. Don’t think about it, don’t procrastinate. Set an alarm on your phone. You’re busy during this time. It’s a commitment.

Taking care of yourself isn’t always going to be fun but it’s a necessity like doing chores and paying bills. Just fit it in your schedule like any other appointment and don’t question whether you “feel” like going or if it sounds fun that day, unless you’re sleep deprived or sick.

Is there any change happened to the body? If it did them its a motivation. Also for few days even if you don't feel like visiting or working out just visit for fun. Do whatever work out you like doing. If dont feel like working out still visit and watch people working out.. again will motivation come

Have friends who are already good at their established habits and work with them. I do better when I talk to friends who are already doing it than friends who are stuck too. I know that's not always an option, so the other thing that helped me was literally just stick charts. Yep. There is something enjoyable about them that makes me wanna do my habits.

Track it somewhere you can see. A wall calendar, an open notepad on your table. Something easy, visual will help you see your patterns better and ideally make you want to stick to them bc of our lizard brains that like patterns. So the more checkmarks, stickers, colours, whatever in a row, the better, lizard brain is happy.

I was in the same position at one point. Very similar to be honest with you except I didn't have the option of maybe staying with my parents, I had a move out date and that was final.

I felt like I was thrown to the wolves a bit because of my MH issues but I am now far better for it.

I won't lie to you, it wasn't an easy start either. It took me months to square myself off and get things in better order but I have grown from the experience and eventually learned to stand tall on my own two feet.

Sometimes we don't see how strong we can be until we are forced to be strong.

Good luck OP, just know that you will make it no matter what.
