Why at 3am? I love the excitement and newfound motivation, I used to run a mile or two at 6am-just a mile usually- to get the blood pumping and it was great for my mood- changed my life for a while. I would say however (not to assume anything about your health) this sounds like it could also be a manic upswing. Take note of whether or not you’ve needed less sleep lately, are making grand designs and connections, etc. Hopefully this isn’t that though and inspires sustainable change!

You forgot studying something conceptually and theoretically for several years without touching it, and then trying it out at the very end a couple of times; expecting everything to unfold near perfect, as you once read in an idealized textbook example somewhere

You still gotta pull the rope; luck is whatever is on the other side of the success rope. Could be a bear.

Improving, doing, learning… success… bear.

And that’s life

This is a great strat too for not getting frustrated at people.

Figure out what makes them tick. See if it’s helpful or not and move on.

Feeling shame right now due to leaving mid-shift today. Had awful vertigo, nausea, and light-sensitivity due to medication side effects. Trying to pull myself into a better place.

My brain has been making doing my job difficult - so it only compounds the guilt.

You're on r/GetMotivated, we here believe that luck doesn't exist, you can easily factor it out if you look at enough motivational posters

For some, it's different because people are experiencing different levels of tribulations, and thus, they may require different approaches to get them moving.

Finding the "smallest straw" when things have constantly been bleak is something you need to do sometimes because hyperbole of motivation can just set you up for disappointment. What happens when tomorrow isn't your best day? What if you don't survive tomorrow because your depression finally consumes you from whatever that next push is? It could be the "final" straw for your will.

The smallest straw isn't to be viewed as "negative," and if anything, it's the opposite. It exists for people who are just scraping by, and that little glimmer or glint is more believable than being promised the sun, especially when you've been promised that before and it has become trite.

I have never in my life seen a worse degradation of a repost. The text is pixelated, stretched, literally chopped off, and posted by an actual karma bot.

The only thing this post motivates me to do is die faster because it's proof that there is literally zero hope for human kind.
