What kind of bows does she make? Longbows? Recurves? I'm in the market to get a new one as I'm aging out of mine, a three piece collapsible recurve bow with a 40 pound pull.

I don't think it's cliche at all. Sometimes it takes a little bit to get to a place where you feel like you can start accomplishing the goals that you want to achieve and if you are on a roll, take advantage of it and keep things moving in the right direction. And remember, even if you stumble a little along the way, that's OK, just keep your eyes on the prize, get back up and keep going and you will get where you want to be. : )

If you have no job, no insurance, no money - get social services. It’s what it’s there for. Call the Medicaid office, they’ll orient you.

I have a friend who's a professional painter and she says that to make it as an artist, producing art is only like 20% of the process. The rest is networking, marketing, and accounting. She's basically a small business. She says most of her time is spent advertising her art, joining artist communities, and re-calculating her budget every month. She went through years of trial and error to succeed, and she did this because she listened to criticism and constantly improved.
It's the same with every creative project. It's not enough for you to have a stack of patents -- you need to learn about copyright law, marketing, and manufacturing. The optimism/pessimism oversimplification is a false dichotomy -- you absolutely need to listen to the naysayers because they'll tell you the weak points in your inventions. Your friend telling you why your ideas won't work will help you optimize your designs and create several backup plans. Don't discount his opinions.

you are confusing lazy with pessimists tbh. You can easily find hard working intelligent people with negative view on life.

But it’s so degrading it feels like for an intelligent being to be at a not so intelligent job. It leads to bad thoughts with time. How do you stay happy on the job. Around where I am, people only get welding jobs or go to college. I am not college material but I’m also not welding material either. I’m not sure what to do without going ape **** crazy. Thanks for any input fellas and gals.

idk if this will help anyone else but my mom always used a saying with me: Pick a Corner.
it was in relation to cleaning my room but as I got older it was an analogy used for any seemingly insurmountable task and coping with a lot with adhd and getting started. No matter what it is don't look at it as a whole, just pick a corner, start, don't worry about how much you get done or plan to get done. Just start.
You got this.
