The movie version is so much worse than the book its unreal. The difference is that in the book the line took place during prefight exchange. In the movie it was a stupid oneliner before a kill. It stopped the momentum of the battle and made the audience think she was able to kill him because of her sex.
Now knowing the whole context, I dont understand why they picked the first part of the quote that is about gender instead of the second part that is about standing up to protect your family.
>Éowyn I am, Éomund's daughter. You stand between me and my lord and kin. Begone, if you be not deathless! For living or dark undead, I will smite you, if you touch him
This is much better candidate for motivational line.

"success" for me,
is simply improving yourself compared to the past
and that's enough for me

The fun thing about rubiks cubes is that just because they are all jumbled up does not mean that they are broken. Also, even when they have been solved it does not mean that their function is at its end.

So her quote was more of a "do as I say, not as I do" kinda deal?

I've been to a couple of psychiatrists. They let me talk for 10 minutes, gave me a script, and showed me the door.

Definitely from the animated one. They even had a big selling point of having Christina Aguilera sing the song for publicity as part of the film being released.

I think "finding" mainly involves "Self-reflection" and "introspection" which can lead to a newfound sense of purpose and motivation to take action towards creating the version of ourselves that we aspire to be.

Indeed. Someday we'll all figure out where we're meant to be.

Seems relatively reasonable that one would do both.

My biggest advice to start out, is to get a job and stick with it. I say this because people who are lost and confused and have no motivation, need routine, need to be disciplined. Not only will you start making money (even if its not a high paying job) but you will be moving, getting up and moving, especially in a routine , will be your basis of having motivation. The job you have doesn’t have to be your dream job, you can still figure that out while you are working your current job. For instance i am a master service tech and small engine shop, but it is something i do not want to be doing in next 5 years hell even 2 years 😅and im 28 not much younger than you. Only difference is i have a job and you dont (not in a negative or judgey way) just saying that its the only difference between me and you, two people not really knowing what their dream jobs are, and when you have a job even if its not what you want to do your whole life, you can eventually afford your own place, or afford to go out and meet new people and make friends, just having a job a sticking with it, is the basis of fixing your situation. I know its a lot easier said than done but its the way you have to start!

Life is about the journey, not the prize at the end - it sounds like you have found paradise- got what you want AND grateful for it- being satiated is ok! It’s good! Why not stop and smell those roses!!
