As someone in a not so great place that has a habit of giving up way too easily, and while I’ve heard this advice (or at least similar to it) many times before, for some reason the particular way you wrote this actually really sunk in for me and has given me a lot to chew on, thank you.

OP, if you REALLY want a challenge, have a baby and strive for HIS/HER happiness. If not, enjoy the best years of your life - your only plan should be to make sure to defend it from externalities.

My life has gone to shit since 4 years back. And I found this motivating comic and I told myself one day like the guy in the comic I would figure myself out, just give me some time.
4 years later, to present time, coming to 5 years almost actually, my life is still shit. And I stumbled on this comic again.
