I'm so sorry you're going through this. Exhaustion is a great way of describing it - I feel that too. I feel a great need to just rest, to just be. I think I am resentful about having to do anything at all at the moment.

The burning building is a great analogy! For me it's always been scrambling up a cliff face, and I can't stop else I'll fall back down into what I came from.

that's not always true.

if you are bad at what you are doing you can practice for years and still fail to improve.

I know from personal experience.

EDIT:to clarify:I am mostly talking about competitive pokemon. I just can't improve on that since there aren't any STRAIGHTFORWARD videos and articles on the internet on team building.(except from that video grady cool made for sticky web teams, that was the one and only straightforward video I have ever watched).

Or do you remember how as a kid, other kids literally dragged you back on races so they can get in front of you while you may fall and finish last? Yeah, it could be that too.
