Agreed. One of my classmates applied 9 times before being admitted to our (vet school) program and has major regrets, as do I. But I’m glad I didn’t spend 9 years chasing it. All the medical fields are soul crushers, rife with abuse and never ending debt.

I'm 32, and only chose last year to start being apart of life again. And I really needed this. I constantly feel depressed because I feel like I threw my 30's and chance at a family away.

This wasn't really motivating my man. The way you phrased everything was actually quite the bummer.

However your general Idea is pretty inline with Stoic philosophy which I believe is very motivational! And you spoke the truth! The problem is that the way it is presented comes across much more existential than motivating.
