So basically, if you’re constantly only seeing the bad in something, comparing it to others, or insulting it, it’s hard to see the good! In this comic, the first monkey is being hard on his plant because he’s comparing it to others. But the other monkey makes him see that with a little love, patience, and time, good things happen! So whenever you’re having a hard time, remember to take a step back and be proud of yourself!

You're only 25 man. You are not supposed to have it figured out yet. Anyone thats 25 and says they have it all together is lying. With all of the events that have happened recently, people in their 20s-30s have been impacted the most truly.

I have ADHD as well, it does have an impact in how you develop your sense of self. All the things people told me as a kid emphasized how dumb and incapable I was. Sometimes I still believe that to be true, when its really not. My defense mechanism became dissociating, which I still struggle with at times. But it really helps to know how that impacted me and what my brain is telling me is false.

It can take time to find direction. Be patient with yourself and try new things.

Hugs 🤗 internet friend. It does me too. My new mantra is overly simple. I keep repeating to myself PUSH PUSH PUSH. PUSH to be active because that is what lifts the blues temporarily. It can last all day or only a few hours. Active can be reading on the terrace, going to the gym, taking a shower. Anything to disrupt the settling darkness. (Of course meds, too.)

Another way to look or approach this is to envision your future self ( next best version) has come back to help you tweak a small aspect or thing along the time continum that will help you get the best outcome ( Desired outcome) your aiming for or a happier today / life.

Watch Scott Bakula in Quantum Leap, old TV show.. He jumps thru time and becomes that person and has to help them change history for their better.

https://youtu.be/UreHaK6DO-s P. S I have no idea if this year's 2023 reboot on the show is any good.

Imagine Scott Bakula is YOU, he's beside you whispering into your ear guiding you :)

>You'll get your shit together in your early 30s like everyone else, don't worry.

Disclaimer: Your mileage may vary.

Many 30 somethings are still drifting, so I wouldn't say "like everyone else." Especially those groups that graduated around 2008, or anyone that haven't found themselves in a relationship and friends because they just can't seem to find anyone.
