I hold the same disagreeing opinion. Objective truth is what matters. No one should want to live in a delusional world.

With that being said, you can be correct and convey that in a kind manner. If the person is wrong and you are right, it will come out in due time. Some people just have to learn the hard way. The objective truth is always revealed… eventually.

This implies kindness and truth are mutually exclusive. They are not. You can kindly tell someone they're wrong, you can kindly tell someone they need to take better care of themselves, you can kindly tell someone that the law of gravity doesn't care if they think they can fly.

Care more about your work ethic and being responsible to your community. Become a team player and change your heart to do things for the right reasons, not just yourself and your ego. Unless you do it your ego is going to keep running the show and being beat up constantly. Ego success is always brief and right before you fall on your face again. Working for what you care about and doing what’s right means you succeed even when you fail because you know doing your best for the right reasons WAS the goal, not technical success. The path you’re on is the path of ultimate pain and hell. For you and for anyone who comes into contact with you.
