I'm starting to move as well. I'm concentrating first on making a diet plan, then I'll think about jogging or walking.

Sounds like you place your self worth in the hands of other people "I've had my status taken from me and now I am just another somebody". You value yourself in comparison to the status of your peers. This is a tricky place to be as you cannot control other people, and if your personal value is placed in the hands of other people you will never be in control of how you perceive yourself.
I don't like giving advice, but... it seems to me you need to take some time for yourself. Think long and carefully about what brings you joy/happiness/fulfillment. Think about those things with the intention of determining if those are things you control or others control. Focus on the aspects of your life that bring fulfillment that YOU CAN CONTROL. Once you find out what you can control and brings value to your life you can grow from there.
You can still be a leader, you can still be a boss, but you need to do it on your terms for reasons that bring you value.
I hope that makes sense. But if you want a simplified version just go to youtube and look up some sprite commercials from the 90s. "Image is nothing, Thirst is everything"
