I need inspiration myself. I turn to bad habits in boredom after my spouse's earlier bedtime. But given that I have a workshop myself that I should use more, maybe let's try to inspire each other. Do you have a lathe? Try making pens. Small, easy, beautiful, everyone loves getting one. No lathe? I made a stupidly simple bird feeder- just a flat platform with raised sides that I nailed to a post outside my window. During the day I can watch the squirrels and birds come in.

Go to the various art or craft subs. It’s typically a bunch of regular people showing off the things they made. It feels nice for the people posting to get comments with positive feedback. It’s cool for people browsing to see what people are designing and able to execute. They’re generally smaller groups of people so it feels more like a positive community vs a sub with millions of people arguing about everything.

I have an separate account that only subs to stuff about art, plants, canoeing, and stuff like that. Its inspiring to see people using their imaginations and taking pride in something they created. It’s just… wholesome

But ultimately to what goal? Not everyone wants kids, not everyone can achieve a great legacy! Do you believe that some persons, from the moment their existence becomes a reality, are doomed to live an awful and harsh life, this without reason or explanation, being applied to their situation? Aren’t some people just preordained to suffer for the good of others, or are just incapable of achieving happiness through the actions taken by people in control of the situation they are born or live in that will have an even more detrimental/negative impact on their current situation/life/future potential? For e.g ( human trafficking, rape victims.etc.). What is the goal then, to the person who is setback consistently and cannot overcome? Is this aspect and reality of life that many face not known and understood by the wider public?(rhetorical) Please do not answer this, as the truth is the lives of the few who could understand this message will not be known nor understood. The truth is not everyone can be happy ! ! ! The truth is not everyone will be understood! And the truth is some people lead a much more difficult life than they are equipped to deal with!

I feel that.

That is how I'm feeling now that I'm medicated. I see all I have done both bad and good. I'm ashamed, embarrassed, and heartbroken by the things I did that hurt others and in complete amazement at some of the things I have made and done.
