I was like, hmmm... place in North America that's rarely in drought, has access to lots of fresh water, and people can legit bitch about that heavy white bullshit that falls from the sky. It's either this or that.
Full honesty, I was thinking you might be a Yooper.

Science!
Also, ask dinosaurs in re space programs.
Also, nice low grav point defense against incoming spicy rocks.
Also, read Moon is a Harsh Mistress by Heinlein.

I'm a subscriber and now using ChatGPT4 to work on my upcoming D&D campaign.
The AI is robust enough to be a helper with ideas, details, and more. Where it lacks some nuance and can forget details, if I ask the right way, it makes my brainstorming, drafting, finalize process exponentially faster. On a level that makes me giddy.
I've built multiple nations, with rulers, various sub-rulers, cultural differences, and more. It even created a new creature for me without me asking more than "What animals would this culture ride as a mount for combat?"
I don't know about saving us from an apocalypse, or causing one, but it's incredible and the best DM assistant tool I've ever had. Ever.

This just isn't true. Yes, there are some horrible agricultural practices and messed up incentives around water use and crop production, but there is a reason California is a bread basket and a locus of agricultural research and development -- water can be moved economically, whereas sunlight, soil and climate can't.

Every job. And yours too. The end goal of AI automation is unemployment for all.
If you enjoy a middle class lifestyle, you charge costumers accordingly. At some point costumers will seek the same service for a cheaper price.

Isn't there plenty of sunlight for solar panels on the moon? They have about 2 weeks of daylight, then 2 weeks of night. Should be plenty of time to charge batteries for a small base station.

You're assuming it has nothing to interact with. Maybe it uses the solar wind somehow. Plenty of charged particles in the solar wind. Maybe it can push against the Earth's magnetic field.
