Until we have a better method than a keyboard of getting data from a brain into a device, a handheld unit with keyboard is not a bad format. Currently phones are rectangular which is one of those “but that’s how we’ve always done it” things. I think there’s vast opportunity to improve the interface with the hand- even providing left hand and right hand models.
Also, I don’t need my phone to be 8mm thin. Fatten it up and give me some more battery capacity.

I'm actually considering switching to a dumb phone. I really think it'll be a positive change to not be so connected.

Everyone has something they don't want everyone to know.

Make the camera actually useful with alternate vision modes. Night vision, heat vision, and whatever else so more humans can see more of the spectrum of our reality

I want physical buttons back I'm so sick of waiting for buttons to load or having them do nothing because my "smart" phone is being stupid.

Obviously it’s way above my (nonexistent) clearance level, but I’d be absolutely shocked if such a tool were not already in late-stage development, if not already deployed.

I don't appreciate the amount of atrocities committed by big brother.

If you wanted to stop big brother all of you should’ve stood up against data mining when they sold you out for Pennies to an advertisement company

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Who is in charge and what they consider good/evil can change very quickly, so be careful what powers you want to give to the state.

the problem is that if a AI decides that humanity need more intelligence, empathy or even creativity you would simply be culled.

You can't rest what does not exist. AI for now is just simple machine learning that's not threat to humanity.
Maybe what you really mean is you want better data privacy rights really, but that's not really about AI when you get down to it.
Beside that using a machine to infer probabilities is not going ever get any real limits, imo. You may as well try to ban math and human intuition while you are at it.

We should be concerned with any well-funded intelligence that can act in any way it pleases in the name of "its better good."
It's way too late to do anything about the alphabet agencies, but chat GPT is just a tool like Google Search was before google became an ad company. Eventually, Chat GPT will be used to sell us our favorite products too, all the while patting itself on the back for offering us something we already wanted.

Well, with full access to all the public information out there, by analyzing the style you're writing and thinking on one, it could easily track you down on other sites under different usernames.
Teach the AI a psychology and behavior patterns, and some day no doubt you will have an ambulance and police waiting for you outside your house before you even think about jumping off the bridge or doing something worse. :D
In time AI will know us better than we do ourselves.
