Pie in the sky? AI personal assistant that everyone gets from birth and learns preferences and unique individual needs. Keeps you (or your legal guardian) informed of what it thinks you need and unless told otherwise acts on its understanding of you.

Middle of the road possible? An AI that knows everyone's political preferences from day to day, allowing individuals to passively vote on every single issue. No more congress. A president with minimal power mostly to represent the people abroad and a government that actually works towards the people's mandate. In short, AI run direct democracy.
