You don't pay for any repairs with a lease.
Complaining about the life of EV batteries is a very 1990s complaint. That's what they said about Prius batteries, but Prius went on to be one of the most reliable and popular cars, even for Taxis with hundreds of thousands of miles. The same is true of modern EVs whose batteries very rarely fail and are warrantied for 8-10 years usually anyway.

I have a shit-quality era Tesla, but all indications are that a new Model 3 or Y off the line from Texas or CA today are as good as any other automaker at this time for assembly quality.
Almost all of the recalls have all been software not due to assembly.* Except for a Model S bolt recall.

100% agreed. This feels like tone-deaf Silicon Valley nonsense with someone hoping to be the next billionaire. You know their goal is to monetize it too , not make your life easier. You will have rich people increasingly using bots and AI with everyone else doing things like they always have.

Plus it sucks. The fridge will miss stuff, or order the wrong thing. Nobody’s food need are this regimented. And it’s more expensive than just going to the grocery store at least around here. I’ve tried using an app to order groceries ahead of time and it was so aggravating i think i spent more time on the app than I saved. And if you are even slightly interested in price shopping it’s not great.

You're not going to get any hydrogen facts hanging around any Tesla sub. But you aren't really interested in facts, are you.
Watch what happens in a place you'll never read about on /r/teslamotors or r/electricvehicles - where any talk of H2 FCV's is prohibited - lol.

Don't feel comfortable with the thought of someone having my identity in their hands without me having a chance to claim against it. I feel like this is something that will be more often misused, than used for good things

My friend just got one of these. However, she has a fairly small house, like we do (I mean 2500 sq ft so not that small but not huge).
Unfortunately, the little vacuum and it's container "lives" on the side of the wall in her living room. It's an eye sore. Looks like more clutter. That's not such a great invention for cleaning 🤷🏻♀️

Imo, there's not a huge difference between that and saving a person's likeness through recordings, videos, and pictures. I can see why it would appeal to some, you could combine all of those into something like a cleverbot of one person, but it would be incapable of actually feeling or thinking anything and be somewhat superficial.

>Greg Spanjers, program manager for rocket cargo at AFRL, said the military envisions a future when it could be cheaper to send cargo via rocket than by transport aircraft. In a national security or humanitarian crisis, a launch vehicle would fly from Cape Canaveral, for example, and either land on an austere field to deliver cargo or airdrop it.
Seriously, why is this still being pushed? This simply makes no sense from any realistic perspective. Common Sense Skeptic made a quick teardown/debunking explaining this:
But honestly this should be self-evident. It's simply impractical and a waste of money and resources.

There was a black mirror episode about this. The avatar/ai husband and a grieving widow I think? I don’t remember the details but I think it ended up bad in any case.

Current lithium batteries are between 2-300Wh per kg so they are low but they are a start.

Lol, you're so wrong, that it already happened, and you didn't notice. (This was before January 1st so this was pre-govt subsidies.)
2022 Chevy Bolt EUV - $239

2023 Bolt EUV LT – $27,800 (Before subsidies)
That's spitting distance of $25k.
