Lovely photo :) my family visited my brother and his family in Thirroul in August, and we took a trip to Canberra (and Sydney and Melbourne). We went to the arboretum. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting the country.

finally someone posts a picture of it when it's snowy. It looks so much better when it's snowy but everyone prefers showing its (personally rather ugly) crater side during the summer or spring. And I don't go up there often enough to get pics of it, and when I do go up I rarely even pass it because I'm going to Bremerton or Seattle!

Stacking is always going to leave some residual halos. Go back in and dodge and burn them away

I'm fairly happy with the image but that ghosting around the tree is definitely annoying me now haha! I'm wondering what it is because even the other images that I haven't stacked have a subtle ghost around them in each of the different exposures

Halos are something that usually happen when someone is over HDRing in post and they don’t know how to avoid such shit results.

Me too! They were only there for a couple minutes and you could see me clumsily get my shit together on the hill trying to get ready for the photo

the glacier is at the bottom of the photo, not in the mountains.

Certainly is very green with the endless rain we've been having this year. Hadn't seen flowers up there like this until this month either
