That’s not really the Mist Trail. It technically starts at the junction like 1/4 mile past the bridge.

It's the tallest mountain in Massachusetts, a state known for witchcraft and it has a badass name. So it makes sense to me

It’s our first time to this island, but we were surprised that it is a bit busy. We have nothing to compare it to for the time of year. It was easy to get beach spots though.

There is no Mist Falls. That’s Vernal Falls near (but I don’t think on) the Mist Trail.

This mountain (tallest point in MA) also inspired Herman Melville, who lived to the south of Greylock, to write Moby Dick. He looked out his window on a snowy day and thought it looked like a white whale breaching.

Looks too far south to be near the orchard but I could be wrong

Northampton*, us MA folks are picky about our municipality names and pronunciations.

A good friend got married up there last year and it was absolutely gorgeous. Can recommend.
