As i understand, 2 weekly flights from Abu Dhabi (Air Arabia) and a weekly flight from Aden. The Abu flights arent publicly viewable. You need a Socotrian organisation to book them for you. Edit: This picture is 2 weeks old, so pretty fresh :)

I am currently sharing a picture a day on instagram. I try to do the same on reddit, but I'll surely miss a few days. After I am done with all my editing (200GB of RAW data) I'll post a summary of my best pictures on my website.

Socotra isn't an Atlantic island :) As I understand it did actually split from the african continent.

We hiked after the last bus leaves to avoid the school tours and there were tons of goats around! They were surprisingly cool with us ^^

Wasn't so bad on Sunday when I was there, too cold for them yet. There were a few mountain goats about.

The hike around upper lake is amazing. The gnats around upper lake, not so much. Was there for a wedding and an hour in we all looked like we had measles :P
