I’ve talked to other people who’ve been there and it seems very hit or miss with the goats; either you see none, or you see herds roaming everywhere. I was there late December or early January, and other people who were there around then seem to have more luck seeing the goats. I saw most of them later in the day too (I stayed until the park was closing).

I spent a few hours in atlas grove, most were definitely smaller 3rd, 4th growth but once in a while you’d stumble across some monster that must have been 2nd

Ok I've just looked for it, indeed it is still standing, it's the "pointe du hoc" that fell .. but porte d'aval is still in danger thanks to erosion....

I don't think so.

It is called "Porte d'Aval".
On internet there is no report of that.
It is the eye catcher of Étretat, and if that was the case there would be mentioned.
It is now forbidden to walk there, so I could not have made this picture now anymore...

Yeah, we are not traveling all the way upthere just to take a pic :D We have some friends in Oslo, so we will be staying there for a couple of days and than move on. It's more of a "turn off trip" because some of us are going through a somewhat difficult moments :D

Risky to travel all the way there for a shot like this without checking if it's still gonna be possible! But if you can adapt and find other things to do as an alternative in the worst case then you can still spend a good time. Norway has beautiful sites, nature etc. Have fun!
