I’ve only been to Hells Canyon whilst fighting wildfires so this is a pretty clear picture of the area. Would love to visit when it’s not burning. Well named indeed.

Nice biodiversity. Looks like 6-7 or more species right in that tiny few square feet.

I've lived in Atlanta for 34 years and have never been there. Savannah and Hilton Head many times. I always zip to the Gulf coast of Florida when I want a beach, but I should definitely check out Jekyll one day.

There are no crocodiles in Brazil. We have cayman (we called the jacaré) 3 thousand kilometers north of this place.

I'd like to see McCloud someday. Years ago I worked at Lookout jct where the rail line joined the B.N. It's still on my list.

Does Brazil have crocodiles? I come from a place where a waterscape like this tells me 'warning, crocodiles.'

Monument Peak is dead center and also barely visible unless you zoom in.

Yeah...but it's barely visible even if you zoom in. It's about 65 miles away.

That's why I said noise reduction. Blow out the bright stars to uniformity and squash the dim stars out of existence. Just heavy handed post processing is all, not fakery. Nobody would fake slightly trailed stars 😂 this sub sometimes

Little known fact is that local governments restrict grape growers on where they can plant, based on water use and how much they sculpt the land. While opportunistic, growers are also seriously handcuffed.
