Yeah I agree with that. I felt I was getting a full trip. Especially loved the coastal dynamic the further south I went into Milford sound.

From nature perspective, South island is like a scaled down version of entire euro continents, Alps, Forrest, lakes, beaches everything

Sure it'd have been even more beautiful had it been taken in early morning or sunset

I went here last month for a day, really an amazing place that's almost picturesque wherever you go in Sedona.
If you ever go again I recommend Boynton canyon with that massive cave everyone takes a picture of! The path isn't really marked well so looking it up online helps.

Southern hemisphere person here... Sadness. We're going into autumn.

Right? Its literally the second view point area after you enter the park. Less common would be going around to the other side by the boat launch.

Yeah the weather was very dynamic there. From sea to mountain top. Very beautiful in various ways.

Those aren't redwoods. Redwood bark is red and very soft, with sinewy/threadlike texture on the outside - not this chunky brown scaly looking bark. Also they are more tapered with a wider base, and typically don't have the moss hanging from low branches (or have low branches) like this photo.
There are a number of forests that look like this photo in northern California, and they're beautiful, but those aren't redwoods.
Source: grew up with redwoods on my property, googled to double check I wasn't misremembering.

Most of California is getting a snowstorm this week, including Redwood NP, so idk what OP is talking about.
