I went camping up there a few years back. That was 1 of only like 3 or so places I've ever been where I legitimately felt like I'd stepped in to some fantasy world... And this picture managed to catch that feeling perfectly.

Oof, that's a terrific photo.

I mostly stay to the established trails. But I will say for this photo, being so far into the black water was definitely sketchy for me personally. I’m aware of the presence of gators but luckily I didn’t cross any this time.

It is sad. After Covid it was too hard for me and my little family so we had to leave. Broke my heart.

I lived in Orlando for 8 years and I gotta be honest, the thought of going out in the woods never crossed my mind. Kudos to you for being willing, I’d be scared shitless.

I also need to get to the other islands but I love Maui so much. I’ve been three times now. Saving up for next year to extend the vacation by a few days so we can do our days like we love on Maui but then go to Kauai as well.

It is both beautiful and also a place I definitely do not want to be!

Yeah we got there Thursday 1/26 and barely saw the sun until Tuesday which was a tough pill to swallow on a multi thousand dollar vacation. But the place is so damn beautiful even with the clouds and rain that I just didn’t care after a bit

I have to see the other islands. Been there twice because I enjoyed the first time so much. A fresh avo on a secluded beach in Hańa is one of my best memories from there.

It's a great trail, very close to UCF. It has a variety of scenery and you can even continue to hike along the river if you want. There is almost never anyone out past the power lines so I really enjoying getting way out there. Just if you go out that far, be advised of hunting seasons and wear a bright orange shirt or hat because you never know.

Man I miss Maui, gotta go there again sometime
