I’m pretty sure they used to claim that waterfall as the only one on the west coast that went directly into the ocean.

Live oaks grow very slowly. I recall the beautiful live oaks at my grandmother's property in the 1970's. They survived several hurricanes and tropical storms since then. I recently saw them at the now empty property. They dont look like they have grown an inch.

Lol accidental clickbait!

So. Ya. I read that completely wrong. I was wondering why Julia Pfeiffer would burn a state park. *sigh*
Great pic. Looks like a lovely place.

It’s a small waterfall, I’m glad someone noticed the details!

I love that fall right onto the beach.

I bet! I imagine there are some nice scenes in north Idaho that would be fascinating to someone like me.

Visited this park last March. It was gorgeous! I am from North Idaho so it was fascinating seeing the different landscape.

Thanks! I had spent the morning shooting the beach nearby that is one of few beaches in Florida that has rocks along the coastline that make for nice foreground subjects. By the time I got to this tree it was mid morning and there’s not much else to shoot in this kind of light but I agree the end result is not too bad.

On contrary. Poor quality probably makes it better from a visual standpoint. almost looks digital. As a NYer I get up there often, my brother. Beautiful country. And gotta love Boston. Another walking city. We have so few in the USA.
