Make sure you leave the tags on those brand new gaiters and turn your bluetooth speaker to 11.

Dope! Lighter is best, we did Olympic but hauled so much gear we never used. Would like to do a car to car.

For Fisher Chimneys? Glacier travel (rope, harness, extraction gear) and to that end, prep for a few rappels on the way down. But the route can be climbed in trail runners/boots. Not sure any gear needs to be placed. We certainly haven't when climbing.

Just double checked it - you see the sun at least 3hrs in winter. It’s very low to the ground but that’s still better than a nothing.

Would you rope in or bring trad gear? Or more of a scramble?

That’s in Spitzbergen for example, to my knowledge it never gets dark 24/7 in Iceland.

I started off with an a6000 and its what I used until recently. The 50mm 1.8 is a brilliant lens with that camera.

Sony's are the best.
I'm still only shooting with an a6000, but everything about it is fantastic. Will get an a7 someday.

Absolutely gorgeous. Would you consider sharing a higher resolution version for a 4K wallpaper?

No polar night at this low of latitude. Eagle River is more or less a bedroom community of Anchorage so our sun is setting ~5:30ish right now. Which, feels downright late compared to December! I'm in this area a lot in the summer, but never really awake late enough to catch the ~11:40pm sunset!
