I'd let you hang it on MY wall and load it with books.

It’s 58” wide secured with six #8 screws and wood glue.

Just replace the toilet? Doubt universal parts are designed for 25 years old toilets

Reply to How do I proceed with wiring. I'm planning on converting a ceilng fan into led potlights room. is my switch single pole? can I use my old ceiling fan wire for pot lights? by _Deathless
That’s a lot of wires. Is this another country?
I’m only used to seeing ground, white (neutral), black (hot) and possibly red as an alternate hot. And a switch with (3) wires is usually a 3-way switch, meaning there is a 2nd switch that also controls the fan.

I've currently turned off the gass valve at the back of the stove until I can figure it out or get the proper help.

As long as the 2x2 is attached to the shelf strongly enough, you'll be fine.

I doubt that you would seal the actual source of the air leak.

Even if your tile comes on the mesh backing? Doesn’t look like individual tiles.

Haha I learnt the absolute basics and I’m not really on any sorta time crunch to make it. I’m sure I can learn just enough to build a nice enclosure with time :)

Yep, I've adjusted it to both ends of the available adjustments and evenly between. I'll make sure to keep it below while troubleshooting.

If you think you’ll learn AutoCAD from scratch well enough to make this piece in any reasonable period of time, I have news for you.

I just hope they still make parts, this Sterling toilet's the ripe age of 25.

Schluter ditra. Was going to use that but the tile needs to be at least 2x2 which this one isn’t. Might have to change the tile I use

So you meant lateral? Why not say that? You've broken like three conventions at once, it's very confusing.

TIL! Thanks that's great info. I really only deal with metal, but this could definitely be good to know in the future.

You could do this with an Arduino, Bluetooth module, amplifier module, speakers and some other miscellaneous stuff.
There are lots of examples on the web. Here's one with funky LEDs.

I was thinking spray foam becuase it's anywhere from 1/2" to 1+" across the whole wall - and was thinking of doing the whole basement. So it'd be a LOT of caulk.

You can try fine sandpaper where the flapper seats. I've had success this way. Seems just enough of the previous ( deteriorated) flapper remained stuck there so new flapper wasnt seating positively flat for a seal there. LIGHTLY sand the rough china there, rinse, replace flapper with ANOTHER new one in case first got warped or otherwise compromised. Good Luck! 🚽
