What did you do for light? We had a plug-in lamp dangling from the ceiling, but the ceiling is already so low, it makes things feel cramped.

If the kids want a nook, make it an austere, but comfortable environment. Clean, safe from sharp objects, and then let them begin to build their own fort, and you follow suit.

Harry Potter's Aunt and Uncle had a degree of success with this for a while. :)

When I was a kid we used the under-stairs closet that way. Didn’t need anything fancy, just something to sit on. We had a folding cot type of thing with a foam mattress.

That's where the monsters live! Why would I make that as a kids area?

Look up retired Seahawks linebacker Shaquem Griffin. He has a very similar condition and he had a special prosthetic to allow him to complete the NFL combine. Something similar might be what you'd benefit from most.
There are also many adaptive athletes in the Crossfit world with all sorts of physical disabilities. I've seen prosthetics like a shoulder strap with a hook to allow for deadlifting, as well as a similar setup that attaches to the elbow for pull ups.
Hopefully you can get some ideas from those!

You would contact an appliance repairman.
Also try /r/ApplianceRepair. Share some pictures with them, please.

Buy a closet auger. It is an inexpensive short snake with rubber to protect the bowl from marks. BTW don't mix vinegar and baking soda. While not dangerous, they just neutralize each other. They make bubbles, but that does nothing to clean or clear plumbing.

My kid has a habit of using too much paper. I have tried various methods. The one that worked the most consistant. As said above this just moves the problem further down the line, but solves it at the bowl side.
Take a normal floor mop, put the head inside a plastic bag, use string or cable tie to seal the top of the bag around the pole, keep the mop head from getting wet. Use this as a more substantial plunger, put warm water in the toilet , plunge and flush, has worked for me everytime so far.
I have a drain cleaner attachment for my pressure washer, i usually follow up with that down the sink and bath drains to break up anything remaining.
Thanks

yeah, don't push it through. The only thing that should go down a toilet is poop, pee and toilet paper people. I wouldn't do flushable wipes either. They don't break down like toilet paper, and I've found that many people think any kinds of wipes are flushable. I remodeled a bathroom for a lady, and she called me a few months after blaming it on me. She accused me of not insulating the waste lines and suspected they were frozen. We ran a snake in and started pulling out baby wipes. I looked under the sink and there was a costco box of baby wipes with only one pack left. At that point, I asked her if someone was flushing them, and she blamed it on her boyfriend. We pulled out two 5 gallon buckets of baby wipes.
I've seen stupider, had a lady once who was flushing newborn diapers down the toilet.

If it is a rental the walls are likely eggshell meaning there is a sight sheen
Your best bet is to see if you are allowed to paint the walls, then paint them in the flattest flat paint you can so they dissappear.
Otherwise, once the place is filled with paintings and rugs, you really don't notice it.
KennyBSAT t1_j96m3xm wrote
Unclogs toilets, sure. Magically makes things that should never be in the toilet in the first place go away, no. Paper towels don't break down. The only way is to remove them with some sort of mechanical device or vaccuum. Even if you manage to push them through, they will continue to cause problems further down the line.

Was going to suggest similar. Run a bead, or dots, of silicone caulk where the tablet sits.

Buy 4’ rolls of mesh and skim coat with mud. I’ve found this to be the most inexpensive. You may find it tedious but once you get the system down and can mud efficiently it is easy peasy. Thorough sanding is the key to having a perfect finish

Actually, the reason they're textured at all is to hide flaws in taping and bedding the sheetrock. A perfectly smooth sheetrock finish requires more work and more skill and is costly. A heavy texture hides imperfections.
If you've ever recorded music, you'll know that heavy texture does little to reduce echoes. Yes, there's a little diffraction but it's not significant.

I'll take a look at some of these straps for sure!
Yeah, some tend to fall off. The ones that don't and aren't really high quality tend to cause some trouble, because once I pull something with them, I'm basically only relying on them to pull it (if it bend down to try and catch the bar with my left hand, I'm out of balance and bent to the side since my right arm is longer than the left one due to the presence of a palm) and what ends up happening is the strap buries itself into my skin, causing nasty cuts

I know one of these people. I’m a tradesman and I was the first person she asked about it. My reaction was ‘but for why?’.
I think it’s indicative of something wrong with the person but that’s just me. Like you would rather put in what probably amounted to a couple weeks straight of work, hard work, than tolerate some minutiae.

If it’s concrete than use tapcons. Just make sure they don’t go into the hollow portion or they won’t bite.
