Can the mirror hook onto a screw?

It is 18.5lbs. But hmm okay, I can't seem to find any dry wall anchors that incorporate a hook to hook the mirror onto.

Get a dry wall anchor.
I personally wouldn't hang anything more than 20lbs without a stud but that's me.

hold on - I didn't consider that.
The house has a basement underneath but not under the whole house. THe basement is very wet and when it's raining strongly, the water pushes through one of the inner walls. It is exactly below this spot!! And the outside is also inclined towards the house. If puddles build up outside, the water flows right into the wall.
This is actually a pretty good guess, holy shit. I have to think about that.

Or seepage from underneath? I would guess some moisture testing to find the source. Fix that, then fix this wall.

If you look for Tatami tiles, that's another type of closed cell EVA foam tile, also commonly called judo mats (normally 7/8" thick) or MMA mats (normally 1" thick). A step up from that would be cross-linked polyethylene foam (XLPE), with a vinyl facing; these are marketed as lightweight home wrestling mats. If you go that route, you will want rollout mats over folding mats for a more permanent installation.
Check out the video section here for some great and overly dramatic explanations:

Could your roof be leaking and water is dripping down into the wall?

Search "art deco" or "contemporary" crown molding for more geometric designs.
You could also just use a simple profile like this. It's not rectangular, but it's less ornate and more modern-looking.

You can buy thin metal profiles with plastic cover, they are produced exactly for lighting strips purpose. I used that for my kitchen, looks professional and covers all the wiring. something like that

They make a specific type of wall board for shower areas. Do not use plastic over standard drywall.

Could it be possible to paint the track white so the edges of it don’t stand out as much?

Probably just wouldn't seem as secure with the triangle hooks that are there for mounting. The back does say only to use with provided hooks, but it's a hand me down, they didn't come with it. Weird you think drywall anchors that come with a hook would be more common.
