Dryers have not used thermocouples since the 40's

So if I repost this question and change nothing except the title to "How To . . ." you would be happy?

Those brackets hold 600# each…so if you use the right fasteners, 2400# capacity?I think 4 is overkill…no?

I am asking for help. This is literally a help request. Please don't be a stereotypical rules-anal Reddit mod.

Well, better get a good fire extinguisher because this is a pretty dangerous. Would not recommend to anyone.

Would just put wall cleats in instead of the brackets, it'll be enough to support quite a bit of weight.

I'd say as far as total energy consumption it's probably more efficient to separate the systems. That way you don't need to make your radiator out of human consumption rated materials, and you can also use more efficient heat transfer medium.

Mine had a rattling/squeaking sound. It was a long strip of felt (thought it was just dryer lint) but it's what the drum slides/glides on. If it's too worn you'd have metal on metal friction. Easy to replace it it's that.

There is usually a safety cut out in addition to a thermostat sensor. If one is bad then replace them both. One could have caused the other to fail.

Could you slowly drip it into your council bin collection? I've got rid of quite a lot of stuff by adding a bit into my black bin over the course of time.
As a bonus it forces you to cut down on other waste to leave a bit of room for the "extras".

Because he missed steps didnt provide links to exact parts.
Unless those cells are designed to not need compression apparently they are rare and have aluminim housings. I doubt that flimsy plastic box provides 300kg per ft of compression to prevent the cells from premature delamination...

Lots of great ideas here. Make sure to put some kind of floor protection on the leg bottoms too so hopefully you're not faced with this problem again. Good luck & I hope you give updates.

I have 1 modification for you get a frame so you can put the cells in compression. They need 300kg of pressure from the ouside to stabilize and prevent swelling and premature delamination i dont think your build achieved that.

What I'd do: Add a 3/8 tee to the hot side and connect the dishwasher to a hot water source, as God intended. Add a valve to the old dishwasher cold water supply and connect the fridge to that.
There's no harm in leaving the dishwasher connected as it is and putting a tee on the cold side. However, a dishwasher issue will result in having to shut off the water. Only costs a few bucks to add a valve there.

Form fins? Knock them down with a diamond cup wheel in a 7” angle grinder. You will kill a 5” grinder and a 9” is too heavy to hump around a vertical wall. Get a LOT of tarps and have it wet sandblasted if you want a quality finish on it. Unless the paint has lead in it, in which case do nothing but encapsulate with a shellac-containing primer and paint. Do not grind or sand yourself if it contains lead.
