You can put another brass tee on top of the other one

The issue is my filter is really slow, so I don’t really want that going to my fridge too because then the drinking water coming out of the fridge will be really slow too.
Any other suggestions? Would just putting a tee on top of the existing tee work?

I'd use a compression tee off the line after the filter, might as well have good tasting ice too.

Good for you. Now that you've fixed that, you can build upon it, and fix/make other things. Remember YouTube is a great resource, so if you're ever in doubt about whether or not you can do something, check YouTube before you call in an expert.

Just try....there's tons of YouTube videos and resources out there. Study, take your time, and you can do many things around the house and save money. Obviously, there are certain projects that should be left to the experts. But the usual homeowner stuff can usually be conquered by us regular folks

Did the same thing this weekend. $17 part from Home Depot. Wasn’t super easy - 20 yr old faucet

Yeah I’d just grab a belt sander and a few dust masks.

Oh jeez… if it’s on drywall you’ll probably need to sand it. I don’t think paint stripper would be any good with objects in the paint that may be plastic or resin. Good luck!

So true. Then each time you can take on something more difficult until your holding your house up on bottle jacks!

I guess glitter might not be the right word to use, it’s kinda like grain of rice sized “glitter”. It’s shaped like stars and moons and kind of pokes out of the paint

If it’s water based paint you should be able to paint over it. It shouldn’t have to be removed I wouldn’t want to get in all that mess anyways.

That’s something to be proud of. I’ll fix a lot of things on my own around the house, but I won’t touch plumbing (or electric). Mistakes way too costly.

Oh I see. I’m using a stainless steel hose for the fridge line. So I don’t think I would be able to attach that to this tee. I’d need a compression tee. Any ideas?
Is there a reason that I can’t connect another brass tee on top of the first tee?

Could be the sill plate. the sill plate sits on top of the foundation depending on the style. Kinda depends what style the builder did and how old it is. It’s really hard to tell without being able to look at it myself. I would still probably try to peel back some of the siding to get a better look.

You'd snip the white 1/4" line a couple inches in from the other tee and install the 1/4" tee there.
Edit: or a couple feet in. It really doesn't matter where you tee

Reply to comment by G0BLINxKING in Bonding Sub Panel to Main Panel Question by G0BLINxKING
No the neutral is fine how it is. You will just need to make sure there is no bonding jumper that goes from the ground bar to the neutral bar in the sub panel. You don’t need to run a ground back to the main ground. What you have to do is to have the subpanel isolated between neutral and ground so that they are not bonded there. You can drive a ground rod near your subpanel and have that as your ground for your subpanel but again making sure your subpanel is not bonded with the neutral bar.
