I mean to core 2’ into the post, from the base. How will the straight guides keep me from curving will I drill?

How would you build a 12’ 4x4? Sonotube with cement, and the “rot guard plastic thing” around cement transition is what I was thinking.

What they have looks super sturdy though? I figured coring into the 4x4 and throwing a post in-say 2’, dropped into a sonotube cement.

I want to make more like it but, 12’ high.

I would fill it with a 2 part epoxy, let that fully cure then drill it out to fit the original screw.

Or you can fill the hole with cotton, then saturate the cotton with superglue . After it dries, drill it out and screw in only screw. This process works well with cupboard hinges.

No, I see that. Most of the water was really the splashing the left the shower more than just running out. The barrier was just another thing to help prevent it further. For all I know, theirs are just extra shit. I dunno. Modern design just isn't for me.

The concrete board is very light, doesnt weigh much at all. It like coated with concrete on each side, with kinda like glassfiber net, and some sort of styro inside of it. Pretty hard.

Superglue a toothpick in. The screw will grab the wood just fine. If you have the cheap flat toothpicks put one on each side.

It was kind of a test. Layered from bottom - Sand and stones - styrofoam - plastic sheet - boards - concrete. The leveling concrete also flowed into edges and stuff so it filled every pocket.

Do you have concrete board on a base material. I never knew you could do that. I would have thought you would have to lay some concrete or a floor first.
