West Hartford, great public schools with a very very low violent crime rate. Through personal experience, I'd say it's one of the most anti-drug-and-alcohol high school systems, so that's a plus for kids. It's ranked #1 to live in (in CT) by Niche as well.

It makes sense to encourage otherwise healthy people to take their treatment. Then when CPR wouldn't really make sense to ever do, to encourage to change to DNR. Then when physical and mental extreme suffering is inevitable, to encourage physician-assisted suicide.

I hold out the hope, got a few on my grandfather's properties that literally have hoarded every unless thing on their yards and basements to where you can barely walk, one lady in a 1br you have just a one person wide walking path the rest is hoarded shit. Talk about a fire hazard

Speaking as someone who has been to every state in the US other than Hawaii...there is no "Real America" as far as I see it.

America is a huge country with vast differences between the states and coasts.

That said, I don't think you can go wrong with Connecticut or New England in general for your first visit.

Just got done hosting 3 friends from England here in Connecticut and a trip up to Maine/Boston and they had an amazing time. They couldn't get over how friendly everyone was and the lack of drama.
