Yeah it’s not easy, good for you for putting yourself out there. I would suggest to do something related to your hobbies, if you like a particular thing see to go for some workshops or events, more than likely you’ll bump into the same persons or slowly start talking online.

I’m trying to navigate those waters myself now, I’m in my late 30s and unable to have children. My friends try to include me in events but I can see it’s not always easy to do as most of the things they’re doing now is surrounding their family life. Good luck 🍀 😊

If our elected persons had your view, we'd besides have a more booming economy around producing and distribution of these legal substances, make well over what we do in weed taxes, probably multiples. And we'd set the stage as the first actual state to legalize everything recreational and set up places to get it. It's my dream that we set up somewhere or places here to grow, regulate, and distribute coke and mushrooms and lad, even heroin. Besides decreasing overdose rates, we'd control it all, alot of that tax would probably go to recovery efforts and we'd have alot more jobs which we definitely need as a atate

Your apartment complex should have an office that should be able to answer all of those questions. I have never seen an apartment complex that does not have some sort of parking specifically designated to the apartment complex, and usually you can only park there if you get a parking ticket.

As long as you don’t mind a bunch of New Yorkers then welcome! Since the pandemic they’ve literally overrun us in the state and are moving/visiting en masse. A lot of the coast line has become very touristy as a result of that, hopefully you’ll find a nice spot that is still mainly a local hang out spot.

If you're going to pick CT as your first taste of the US (I wouldn't) and you're 21, do yourself a favor and just stick with New Haven. You can taste the best pizzas in the US, grab a burger at Louies, etc. Nowhere else has the combination of great restaurants and fun for your age. Been to all the other towns mentioned below and you'll get bored quick.

Pretty much, this is what happens when they let these buildings get built without enough parking.

There is a huge shortsighted push to build things without proper parking access, 20 something dont get that as you get older your going to need vehicle access and that it should be accommodated for day 1.

Bought in 2013 when I was single and making $65K. It was one of those "nothing structurally wrong, but just dingy and dirty and nothing's been updated, so it's been sitting on the market a while" homes. It was $212K, about 1,800 square feet, and has been fun to work on. Mortgage (including taxes and insurance) is $1,300. All this feels almost almost impossible to do today.

I love it. I’ll meal plan a few things, but the flexibility of “I’m in the mood for curry tonight” or “I want grilled chicken on a salad” is really really nice. I keep a stock of frozen foods like meatballs and chicken nuggets or easy boxed stuff for nights the kids have activities and I don’t have the time, but for the most part I like cooking fresh.
