Get the unsweetened stuff/zero sugar added. It tastes great and every brand has this variant at the grocery store. Not sure why the “regular” oat milks are loaded with sugar… America, I guess.

Looking to hopefully own land in VT one day- what is the tax situation like owning property there? Might be more of a DM thing but really curious to know!

That's OK I'll just use the prius as a speed bump to slow me down

It doesn't matter what wheel drive a car has. Your 4x4 gas guzzler won't stop any better than a prius when you have no traction.

I have a bad cold, so my storm snacks are just my sick snacks that I've been eating for days. But my favorite sick snack, incidentally, is rice-a-roni.

We bought in 2008. We had two incomes but not great ones, and were also paying to keep an apartment in upstate NY for husbands job. We got a fixer upper. Both of us had plenty of student loans. I was 26, he was 31, so not nearly decades. No financial aid from family, but they did contribute skills towards fixing it up.
We did the small old house that needed work in a good neighborhood. Been here 15 years and plan on staying.

Get insurance first, then go to the local dmv, if it's an older one like a classic it's 130ish

One followup on this if you don't mind. So he made around 50k last year. This year he's gonna be looking at like 16k max. Will they go off of last year's income in this case?

HHI of $160k, 2 kids. 3,300 sq foot house in Cheshire and our mortgage is $1,990/mo.

I took a loan through the lender that sunrun uses. It was something ridiculous like 30 years at 2.99. I expected much worse. I just wanted the safety net and the rate was the same for a 10 year after negotiations, but plan to put the tax incentive directly back in and then basically pay what my electric bill used to be or a little more monthly. Should be like 7 or so years I think.

That's a very interesting proposal. Thank you. That way he gets his money back when he turns 65 anyway. Thank you.
