the removed comment asked where - NW West Hartford. Small WF in Bishop's Corner, Huge new one up 44 in Avon, and mid-sized one in West Hartford center. All 3 are quite different TBH. (and the story of why the tiny one nearest me still exists is ridiculous - it has no right to exist with 2 much larger stores within a couple miles, but there it is - right next to a Big Y which is often more expensive for many things.

Fucking miserable....20 years ago.

Even a decade ago...it was absolutely stupid.

Supposedly the Community Colleges and the State Colleges are all fully transferrable amongst each other now. UCONN is still twitchy because it's a completely separate corporation and not all transfer agreements are current/honored.

Talk to the departments before taking core classes elsewhere and get their signatures buying off your transfers being accepted IF you do go that route.

There's whole administration departments that handle this exact issue.

Bikes are expensive right now. What MTB do you have? Might be worth more than you think. But also the road bike will consequently cost more than you think especially for a lightweight one. If your MTB is good spec and you're looking for a trade in the. Try Airline Cycles in East Hampton or Storrs Cycle Center. You won't get a great bike for sub $300 but they should do you alright on a trade if yours is decent or they might help you find something they're really good guys at both stores.

Eweather is the way to go. He has his own app.

He keys you in on the X factors of a storm that might lead to a boom or bust. He tells you when you better get out to shovel before it turns into concrete. Plus he seems like a nice dude.

His app is free.

Reply to Snow Storm by TwoCanSee

There's a larger chance of someone with truck or SUV with AWD tailgating another car during snowstorm conditions then Ned closing the state

Since Whole Foods was purchased by Amazon, my perception is reduced stock, reduced service, fewer employees and same or higher prices.

Milford is a smaller store and the traffic on Rt 1 there is often crazy. A nice drive from the shoreline to glastonbury might be nicer to a larger store.

It was so ready I thought I must have done it wrong, but I did get a confirmation email saying they got my request. Then I got some documents in the (snail)mail from the new supplier. After applying I still had two months with ES as my supplier still, then on my third bill it was the new one

The funniest part is that the bill (still from Eversource as they're the distributor still) shows me how much I saved that period by not using ES as supplier lol.

Every couple of months I drive from the shoreline to Trader Joes in Orange to stock up on their Chicken Tikka Masala samosas because they're disgustingly goodf
