I would try Craigslist and specify buy/barter deals.
Also there are always estate sales happening year round. I’ve seen some real gems for under $300.
I usually prioritize the wealthiest estate sales first since most people usually buy bikes, but only a few actually use them a lot.

It's 2 mags if the guy is following the law. But given his actions, I doubt he's concerned about magazine capacity laws. Many common handguns have 15-19 round magazines, some are higher.

The easiest way by far to get a permit is to be living out of State when you apply. It is a much simpler process to get a non-resident permit; once you move into the State, you can convert it into a resident.

The weird way this question is worded implies Vermont or New Hampshire or Maine have more going on than CT does. Even for a tourist, the list of stuff to do here far eclipses anywhere outside of Boston in New England.

It took me almost 3 years after I took the class to get my permit so you should be okay I don't think there's a timeline between taking the class and getting your permit.

I do LAZ valet. When you get back, your car will have the snow cleaned off and will be warmed up and ready to drive off. After a long flight, I just want to get in my car and go.
