It is difficult to believe that Eversource does not offer a discount/savings for paperless billing. I have called them a few times over the years about this issue. I have pointed out that my wireless carrier offered a $10.00 per month for paperless billing. I jumped on that right away. The person I spoke to at Eversource stated to the effect, go paperless or not, same price.

No im sure. I looked it up and posted in the other response.

I think knowing what u said is reassuring. But when u look at things like wallethub makes me pause. Connecticut also has the highest number of medical board citations. Thats not med mal but not great.

I feel like a pcp if it is what u said id be ok. Probably if i moved id be aggressive about cya and referrals. Not ideal but maybe as i got comfortable i can do fewer and fewer of these things.

I haven’t crunched the numbers and am not in the medical field but I do have professional experience with the legal system here and know the dockets extremely well. In my experience there are not that many medical malpractice suits in CT. Unless there has been some weird recent uptick, it’s a pretty reasonable number.

What’s super common, like everywhere, are auto accident/personal injury cases, divorces, breach of contract in various forms. Trying to think of what else. But med mal, no, and further, I have to say, the med mal we do have tends to be high quality cases - the firms bringing them are mostly very well qualified. They do their homework before taking and filing a case. They are few but strong, researched prima facie cases and accompanied by affidavits from medical people, which I think are required in initial filings to prevent abuse.

Are you sure your sources are correct about CT? I think you may have the wrong state.

For early morning flights with snow predicted, I've occasionally done "park, sleep, fly" where you spend the night at a nearby hotel and park free for a week. But I'm far enough away (and hate driving in the snow at 4 in the morning) that it makes a difference. Ymmv

Any tint shop will go as dark as you want, they’ll just let you know (and sign) that they aren’t responsible for any tickets you get, nor will they replace tints that are removed.

As for the shop, I got mine done at Tint Master. Great price, super fast install, and really good quality work.

I've always used Executive Park and Fly. Secure lot, they'll handle the luggage, drop you off and pick you up in front of your terminal and even detail/was/wax your car for a decent price. Plus when you get back your car is all warmed up and waiting for you.

I don't know currently, but as of 10 years ago Bridgeport was a 90 day wait. State law requires a response within 30 days, so they'd play games to drag out the process. The first set of fingerprints, which they take themselves, are automatically rejected. As a result, people recommend taking digital prints up at state police headquarters. Not that it helps much because that city will still find ways to drag out the process.

Now that you've taken your class, you need to visit your local police station. They'll guide you through next steps. The process is supposed to be identical across the entire state, but some towns and cities will make you jump through hoops and drag their feet on approvals.

It's not uncommon to have the first set of fingerprints rejected out of hand. Or for you to show up with completed paperwork and be told you're missing some heretofore unmentioned document. I'm convinced the intent is to discourage, so don't give up.

I haven't checked in ages, but there CT gun forums where people keep a list of average wait times by town. Some people also detail their experiences which can be helpful in letting you know what to expect.

Heritage deli is pretty good as far as quality, but the value of what you get for the price is incredible compared to other delis in the area. 2.50 for a respectable bacon egg and cheese in 2023 CT is nothing to shake a stick at. I got a really solid reuben and a chocolate milk there out the door for like 9.50 last month.
