Your base premiss is that the tool is the issue not the person. We have had to tool for a lot longer than the problem. It was pretty easy to find dynamite as a kid every farmer had a shack full way out on the back 40. But for the most part nothing bad happened related to this. Guns were far more available and commonly used, we grew up knowing what it was to take and animals life to feed ourselves. Learning to kill something gives you an appreciation of the act that I dont think people have anymore.

So you need to attack the issue from a different direction. For government thats harder as often thats looking as why systemic supports are not in place.

Getting an appt on this salary is doable. If you are set on not getting a car, check to see which complexes are on bus routes to UConn. I believe that some farther out complexes that have less students (Perry Hill and Oakridge) might have a UConn bus that comes by a few times a day. I believe there are two companies that own the majority of the complexes around that area. If you do get a car, I know there are people who have homes where you can rent out their inlaw suite or finished studio above a garage. I personally think that would be the best financially and you would be away from students, but they maybe agree to locate.

Sunday but Check out the calendar in the link. Not only does it have my farm classes, it also has when I’m presenting at libraries…I may be close to your town teaching a free class. Those tend to be on Tuesdays and Thursdays while my classes here in Colchester are on weekends

Just read the email. They’re claiming:

  1. All law enforcement has been informed and “no agency felt the need to take action.”
  2. No person was ever endangered.
  3. Matter has been addressed.
  4. No laws were broken and it is a personnel matter.

The rumor at the high school is this is referencing a teacher found with alcohol in their car.

The email was a little flippant if it’s really inappropriate conduct.
